ABOUT

I've spent thirty years building. Companies, software and a family. Lately these run together.

Four companies, four kids, thirty years of marriage — and too many 80-hour work weeks. I build with AI to do less of the work I'm not built for, so there's room for what matters and brings me life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Build businesses and software with AI agents, write about what holds up, and run SalesSmyth. Most weeks that means far more editing than typing. The agents produce, I decide.
Six agents I built and run: Claudio (tech lead), Emily (chief of staff), Satoshi (marketing), Miles (customer success), Anders (operations) and Gabi (prompt engineering). Emily came first. I built her for our family and our businesses, and she's why I believe human + AI teams are real. I use one every day, and the stakes are my own calendar.
Ours runs like a small staff. Each agent has a name and a job. Changes ship through tests and reviews the agents run themselves, and anything irreversible waits for a human. The whole thing runs 24x7 on our own secure stack.
I turn methodologies into agentic systems. I train agents that translate my ideas and skills into working software, and the agents do the actual construction. My job is the system around them: putting humans in the right places, so we play to our strengths and the agents cover our weaknesses.
The line is reversibility. If an action is easy to undo, the agent decides, acts and logs it. If it would cost real money or touch a customer, it stops and waits for a human. Agents earn trust one level at a time, and the gates are enforced by code.
Emily is an AI agent, my chief of staff. She sends real email and keeps a real calendar. She's always identified as an agent, and a human stands behind everything she schedules or commits to.
Miles is our customer-success agent. If you're a customer, he's the one following up after the sale. He's an AI agent, clearly identified as one, and I stand behind everything he promises.
